Laporan Dunia
1. The Bank of Japan voted Friday to cut its key interest rate for the first time in more than seven years, finally joining central banks around the world in trimming borrowing costs to cushion the impact of the global financial crisis. The Bank of Japan policy board voted in a rare 4-4 split decision to reduce the uncollateralized overnight call rate to 0.3 percent, the lowest among major economies.
2. Fitch Ratings expects weaker earnings ahead for Malaysian banks next year due to impact of the worsening global growth climate. In a report issued on Friday, it said although the financial performance of Malaysian banks remained fairly healthy in H108, the impact of the global downturn and recent turmoil in financial markets has yet to be fully reflected.
3. Bank of England governor Mervyn King last night admitted that Britain was entering its first recession since the early 1990s. He is the most senior figure to use the word recession since the slowdown began.Against a backdrop of more bad news on the economy, King told a business audience in Leeds what most of them already knew - that the economy is shrinking. “The combination of a squeeze on real take-home pay and a decline in the availability of credit poses the risk of a sharp and prolonged slowdown in domestic demand. Indeed, it now seems likely that the UK economy is entering a recession,” King said.
4. More than half of Malaysians have reduced “impulse” purchases and postponed major life decisions, reports StarBiz's Yeow Pooi Ling. The AP meanwhile reported from Washington that scared and out of money, Americans stopped buying everything from cars to corn flakes in the July-September quarter, ratcheting back spending by the largest amount in 28 years and jolting the national economy into what could be the most painful recession in decades. Yeow Pooi Ling reports that Malaysians are delaying getting married, having children, moving house, changing jobs or furthering their education due to the current downbeat economic conditions, according to a recent poll by Synovate Research.
Laporan Najib

betol tu paneh...dua orang kat atas tu ko jgn layan sgt...sekolah takat tingkatan 5 memang la dangkal siket pemikiran dia...tapi lagak macam orang ader phd...gaya PHD mereka sangat terserlah...Perasaan Hasad Dengki...konon pertahankan Islam...cara mereka sikit pun tak islam...jadi moralnya paneh, jangan ko pedulikan orang2 macam ni...
ReplyDeleteden raso kito kono beri peransang pado orang cam edie ngan ano 10.33 am nih. skurang2 eh dorg brani bagi pendapat wlpun takdo kono mengono ngan tajuk artikel. good try to ano 10.33am dan edie.
Kawan2:Hanya Jauhari mengenal manikam!!! teruskan perjuangan!!!
