It is reported that the Chief Minister of Penang, Lim Guan Eng banned Penang Utusan assistant bureau chief from attending a press conference held by the Pakatan Rakyat. Yesterday, it was reported in The Sun that a Malay daily has provoked the 'racial' sentiment' when the editor of the said paper mentioned that the non Malays should be reminded of history. Indeed, it is history that the non Malays were given citizenship as it does not happen in other Asean countries.
Two examples are in Myanmmar and Vietnam in which in the former state, the Indians were shooed away while in the latter state, the Chinese immigrants were sent back to China. It does not happen in Malaysia. The citizenship for the non Malays are enshrined and protected in the Article 14 of the Federal Constitution. Therefore, I could not see any wrong in Utusan Malaysia revealing the facts about our nation. In Indonesia and Thailand, no other language are allowed to be practice other than Bahasa Indonesia and Thai language respectively.
On another note, the rights of the Malays such as quotas, scholarship and service are clearly written in the Federal Constitution; namely Article 153. Malaysians, PLEASE READ YOUR HISTORY.

ReplyDeleteCuba baca dari mana asal usul mereka, suatunya kawasan dimana diberi gelaran "the snake people" pendatang2 yang berkeliaran dimerata perusuk dunia..
Kalau kita korek sejarah ujud mereka, mana tau, ramai yang seludup masuk guna snakeheads..
Mungkin Utusan ada banyak bahan sejarah mengenai kumpulan pendatang "snake people" kut, tu pasal depa bermatian nak bagi jahanam Utusan Malaysia.. Apa kata kita minta Utusan siarkan cerita2 lama ini.. sejak tubuhnya akhbar ini?
Bota
Aku rasa depa nie tak mengenang budi pasai kalau di negara Cina depa tak mampu pun pakai keta mercedez..dok pakai basikal saja..la ni di Malaysia depa dok tipu oghang kita. Oghang kita pulak dok terpedaya dengan Anwar Ibrahim pasai semua dapat hak sama rata. Mana buleh, ini negara orang Melayu.
ReplyDeleteBegitulah adanya....

Barulah kenal hati budi mereka.
ReplyDeleteBetul kata siluman tu. Saya amat setuju.
